EASTER WEEKEND

It started with egg coloring Friday night and then an Easter egg and basket hunt Saturday morning. Andi & Jimmy officially moved the last of their stuff in. Grandma & Grandpa got the chance to watch Brooke while they took the van to the lake house and loaded it up. Sunday we had a nice dinner with the 9 of us and the Swenson family from church. It was a great weekend.

Rylee & the dog

About a month after Andi, Jimmy, Brooke and their dogs moved in our German Shepard, Zoe, apparently could not handle the stress. One day out of no where with no aggressive behavior shown before decided she had enough and took it out on the youngest of our pack, our little Rylee. The "encounter" ended with Rylee in the ER with 3 stitches and Zoe going to live with our vet.

It was so hard watching her get the stitches. She screamed, then stopped and said "all done Momma, all done, all done" then screamed then "bye bye, bye bye, Momma, bye bye" then screamed then "ouch, ouch." I tried to be calm but could not stop the tears from flowing down my own face.
